Formerly Elite Chiropractic Center. New Name, Same Faces You Know & Love!
Spending 30 minutes of your day with us can bring you relief and progress in your healing journey—but what you do the rest of those 23 hours and 30 minutes of your day matters, too. That’s why we pride ourselves in offering support for you outside of those minutes in the office, so you can develop new habits and practices to accelerate your health and healing in all areas of life.
At Centered Chiropractic, we clearly have all seen, believed, and experienced the many physical, mental, and emotional benefits of chiropractic care—both with our patients and within ourselves.
(we do things better around here—and that means you get better results!)
As much help and relief as we can extend to patients, we consider ourselves just a piece of the puzzle in your care plan.
Think of us as the quarterback of your care. We’ve worked hard to intentionally build a community (or a wellness ecosystem, as we like to call it!) of trusted professionals to support you and truly be co-managers in your wellness and healing journey.
We may be biased, but we’re not kidding when we say that chiropractic care is the real deal. It’s not just about the back & neck cracks (as awesome as they do feel!).
Helps the nervous system adapt & govern the body more efficiently
Welcomes more ease in the body, which means less tension, less stress, & more space to breathe
Is a form of self-care that automatically puts you in a positive state, allowing your body and mind to get a much needed break
Talk about a glow up, right?
At the end of the day, it’s about more than what we can do for you—and what the wellness ecosystem can do for you, too. It’s about YOUR commitment to this process, as well.
You don’t need to start out with big changes right away, but for your outcome to match your expectations, you need to be realistic with your capacity and needs before implementing changes in your life.
Healing is a verb—not a quick fix. It’s not linear, and it certainly won’t be easy. In fact, it will likely be hard… especially in the beginning. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t worthwhile. Your health & wellness is ALWAYS worth the long-term commitment.
Dr. Bonham & Dr. Buckley are both trained and have years of combined experience creating customized care plans, including badass adjustments and more.
It’s not just about in-house solutions, it’s also about teaching you how to integrate doable practices into your daily routine, so you can experience a lifetime of health and not just a season of one.
Because chiropractic influences the nervous system (AKA the master control and regulator in your body), its effects are significant in WAY more areas than one.
Here’s just a sample of the things we help our patients heal from on a daily basis:
Optimization of the body to allow for a more comfortable pregnancy & delivery
Balance and coordination
Neuro-sensory processing disorders
Emotional stress & traumas
Integrating emotions & breaking
Vertigo & dizziness
Motor vehicle accidents
First up, contact our office to set up your first appointment with our team! Once we get something on the books, you’ll receive our new patient paperwork via email or text to complete before your visit.
After your first appointment, we’ll schedule a time for you to come back within the next 24–48 hours. This is where we’ll review your personalized care plan & pre-schedule your appointments for the next 3–4 weeks.
We’ll focus on establishing ease in the body by correcting postural stress and allowing the body to begin to unwind.
Now that we’ve broken down some of those old patterns, it’s time to build you back up with some strengthening & stretching to support your adjustments. In this phase, we will focus on your major pain points or issues that brought you into the office in the first place.
Here, we're focused on making lasting changes because otherwise... we're sorta just like an expensive Advil. Lasting changes are only possible when the body learns what's important through repetition & time.
Phew! You made it. Look how far you’ve come! Now that we’ve brought your body back to a state of ease & built a much healthier you, let’s continue to support it & take it to new levels. You’ll be amazed at all you can accomplish when you’re functioning at your highest potential!
How often do I need to see a chiropractor?
The frequency of recommended visits will vary from person to person, but to see optimal results and nervous system regulation, having a long-term relationship with your chiropractor is best. Here’s what we typically see with our patients:
Patients typically start with more frequent visits in the first few weeks or months of their care—especially if there’s debilitating pain, an injury involved, or the problem has been around for quite awhile. Once you complete your customized care plan, recurring maintenance visits are highly up to you. This can vary from weekly, biweekly, or even monthly appointments.
While we will provide a recommendation based on your unique situation and needs, we trust you as the expert in yourself. As long as your appointments are serving you to become a better, healthier, and more vibrant you, we are here to serve you on your health and healing journey.
Is chiropractic care safe for pregnant people and children?
Absolutely. Chiropractic care looks a lot different for pregnant people, babies, and children, compared to non-pregnant adults. Both Dr. Bonham & Dr. Buckley are well-experienced and properly trained in chiropractic care for pregnancy and newborns.
Chiropractic adjustments for newborns is equivalent to testing the ripeness of a peach—very gentle, yet still very effective.
We also don’t necessarily have to use manual adjustments during your visit. We can use other tools, like an Activator, depending on your needs and situation.
How much time should I allow for my visits?
We recommend allocating an hour and a half for your first visit and 45 min to an hour for your second visit. This gives us plenty of time to dive deep and get a clear picture of what is going on within your body. We try to keep regular appointments to 30 minutes.
We just ask that you please be kind and patient if you happen to experience any delays or longer-than-normal appointment times! We do our best to be as efficient and on time as possible, but also want to give as much time and attention to our patients (like you!) deserve.
What does it cost?
Most insurance plans have chiropractic benefits. The best way to determine what your specific health insurance may or may not cover is to call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask them to review your chiropractic benefits with you. We will also verify your insurance benefits and review them with you at your initial visit.
We do our best to provide you with accurate information regarding your insurance benefits, however, everything is subject to change (per the insurance companies disclaimers) until the first processed claim is received.
If you do not have health insurance or your policy doesn’t have chiropractic benefits, we do offer affordable self-pay rates. Because we believe so strongly in the power of chiropractic and the ability for everyone to heal naturally, we work hard to make chiropractic care financially accessible to all.
What do you mean you can’t squeeze me in today?!
While we always do our absolute best to get you in as soon as possible, especially if you’re dealing with intense pain or debilitating symptoms, it’s not always possible. Our doctors come highly recommended and are well-known for their healing abilities, which keeps our office very busy! The downside of all of that amazingness is the fact that we can’t always squeeze you in at the last-minute. This is why we highly recommend that you reach out as soon as you start to experience any symptoms, rather than waiting until it’s so bad that you can’t make it through the day.
We always want to give you the time and attention you deserve, but we can’t do that if we’re overbooking our schedule. Help us help you by giving us adequate time to get you scheduled far enough in advance that we can give you our absolute all!
What do you mean by “team-based practice”?
Here at Centered Chiropractic, we encourage our patients to see both doctors. While they have their differences, Dr. Bonham and Dr. Buckley are also very similar in their adjusting styles and approach to health and wellness. They’re our dynamic duo, after all! By being open to seeing either doctor, you gain the flexibility to see whoever is available at whatever time is most convenient for your schedule. This also allows you to maintain your regular visits even when one of our doctors is out of town or unavailable, which is our number one priority.
